Fajr fest film 'The Woodpecker' goes on poster

Iranian film ‘The Woodpecker’ attending the latest edition of Fajr Film Festival reveals a poster.

Behrouz Shoeibi’s third cinematic work will premiere at the 36 edition of Fajr film festival in Iran.

All efforts have been made for Shoeibi’s new offering to be ready for the latest edition of the Fajr Film Festival to be held in February 2018.

“There is nothing harder in life than seeing someone you love decide to be alone. You enjoy seeing her and hearing her voice, but she closed all the doors and chooses loneliness in your place ... There is nothing harder in life than being left alone. You see your loved ones and you love them, but they all deny you. They closed doors on you and you are alone. Loneliness is a swamp,” a synopsis for the film read.

''The Woodpecker' has notable Iran stars such as Mahnaz Afshar, Jamshid Hashempour, Sara Bahrami, Hadi Hejazifar, Negar Abedi, and Amin Hayaee in the cast.
